The Lower House passes the stimulus bill

NQN reported that the Japanese Lower House had passed the stimulus bill. Kyodo News reported that the Upper House, which is controlled by the opposition, would probably reject the bill. However, for budgetary bills, the Lower House does not need the approval of the Upper House. And so the DPJ hoped the bill would become law on November 24. Needless to say, that didn’t happen.

Cowards.
